Chapter 13 Bankruptcy?
I’ve never owned a house let alone applied for a home loan yet my credit report states that I have a bankruptcy disposition (C, CH-13 Filed) on my potentially harmful information section of the credit report. I know my past landlord was going through foreclosure and eventually lost the house and filed bankruptcy. Is it possible for my landlords bankruptcy to show up on my credit report? I also would like to know how I’d get off my credit report. I
No, your landlord’s bankruptcy should not show on your credit report. Dispute it with the credit bureau.
