If Extreme Home Makeover would have constructed say 6 moderate-priced homes so many wouldn’t be in Foreclosure?
with unaffordable Taxes.
If the show did constructed regular homes the people still probably couldn’t afford it. What makes these people think that the homeowners could afford a new house when they couldn’t pay to fix the one they had to start with. If you couldn’t pay for repairs for the old place why would you even let the show build you a more expensive place? I know why they were probably thinking ok I’ll sell the new house and get me some money. Out of all the house that were built I bet probably not even 10% still own them.The show may have good intentions but they need to stop it just hurts people in the long run.
