Fannie Mae Foreclosure closing time?
I will be putting in offer on a fannie mae foreclosure next week and was just wondering what their response time usually is on offers and how fast they can close. Just curious because I have to be out of apartment by end of March because my lease is ending. So I am limited on time. Just wondering how long the process typically takes from putting in a offer to closing day on foreclosures.
I will also be having inspection done as well. So taking that into consideration starting next week whats the earliest I can own the house?
They usually except an offer within 48 hours but that has nothing to do with closing time. It takes a minimum of 2 months for normal closing. Since it is a foreclosure I would guess it would take longer.
