foreclosure after bankruptcy discharge

What happens once your Bankruptcy is discharged?

Someone was married and quick claim the house over after the divorce. The only thing was both parties still on the mortgage since the one had bad credit rating. The one who kept the house filed bankruptcy 7 do to not able to keep up the mortgage. The bankruptcy 7 was discharged (inactive after 50 day). What happens to the foreclosure filed by the bank? Do all parties get effected by the one party for filing Bankruptcy on his own?

If the bankruptcy was discharged, that person no longer owes the debt. However, the other person on the mortgage is still on the hook. It is really stupid to quit claim a house and still be on the mortgage. You give up your interest in the asset but keep the responsibility for the debt.

If no one pays the bank, they will take the house. You don’t get to file bankruptcy and keep the house without paying.
