foreclosure dismissed without prejudice

In a foreclosure case what does it mean that the case was dismissed without prejudice?

We got a letter that states that the plaintiff failed to submit any dispositive motions necessary to prosecute its claims so the case was dismissed without prejudice and it has FINAL. We got another letter that foreclosure will continue but we won’t owe anything. What does all this mean? Can the case be re-opened since its dismissed without prejudice?

In a civil case, dismissal without prejudice is a dismissal that allows for re-filing of the case in the future.

In this case the plaintiff seems to have filed a complaint without having all the facts and evidence presented before the court.

Since you owe no money….I’m inclined to believe the complaint can be refiled in the future should there be a failure to pay!
