foreclosure jokes

How can I keep my neighbors cats out of my yard?

My husband & I just bought a new home and have moved in, it was a foreclosure so it was empty for a year and evidently the neighbors cats used it as a hangout (and still do!) The neighbors even joke about how their cats just LOVE to hang out here. I don’t think its that funny since they are spraying my deck and house. Not to mention I had one of our cars detailed just to come out the next morning to cat pee running down the front bumper and paw prints and cat hair gathered all over my clean car!!! I have 3 small dogs that bark at them, I throw water at them when I see them and try to chase them away- Does anyone know of something I could spray the yard/ deck with that may would keep them away? I am at my wits end with these cats- and my neighbor that thinks its ok to let your animals terrorize someone Else’s yard!! PLEASE HELP!!!!

Mothballs work but not a good choice if there’s a chance your dogs would eat them.

Try sprinkling ground red pepper around the area. Or better yet, grow some pepper plants around the area.
