foreclosure land for sale

Should I let my land I own foreclose?

My ex husband and I own some land. The Judge ordered us to sell the land to pay off remaning debt that is now in my name because my ex husband filed for bankruptcy. The debt is from a failed business my ex husband owned.

We were able to get a buyer for the land before the foreclosure date. THe only thing is that my ex husband is now refusing to sign the papers so we can finalize the sale.

The Title co. extended the foreclosure date until April 2006.

Should I just let the land be foreclosed or take my husband to court to force his signature?

I already have a large amount of debt left in my name because of him.

What is a foreclosure going to do?

First of all, do not file bankruptcy as the guy above suggests. It ruins your credit for a long time.

I agree that you should seek a court order to force him to sign, but I would also like to understand why he is refusing to sign. Does he have a legitimate legal concern? If he does, you need to address that concern. It may not be as easy as it seems to win legally.
