foreclosure protection act
tenancy protection act?
I am renting a room in a condo that is being forclosed on in jacksonville florida. I live with the person who owes for the mortgage. the property was foreclosed on and auction completed (the bank owns it now) I have been paying the owner rent for the room with a verbal agreement since june 2010 and foreclosure occured first of this year. Am i protected under the act to not be evicted until the 90 days is up? where as i am renting a room living with the mortgage holder and not renting the entire condo from him..
No, you are not renting the property, you will not be able to start renting it from the bank. You’re a roommate, nothing more.
