free foreclosure homes in florida

Is there a free foreclosure…..?

Is there a free foreclosure website or sites that I can use for my local area? All that I have found are pay for sites. My mother and sister are planning on moving up from Florida and we need to find a good sized home and was thinking of some short sales or foreclosed properties in our area. We are in North Carolina.
Thanks.
That is what I thought. Then how do I pick a realtor that will be more afluent to both MLS and Foreclosure possibilities. Are they listed as such or do I just have to shop for a realtor. I’m so confused LOL.

Go down to your local courthouse and ask the clerk where they have the foreclosure listings. Look at the list and write down what property or properties you are interested in and their Document #. Take what you find back to the clerk and ask them to pull the file. The file will have all the information you need such as owners name, how much is owed, if there are liens, past due taxes, attorneys name who is handling the foreclosure, etc.

It’s free as it is a public record but if you would like more help you can contact me.

This is not a solicitation as I am not in the real estate industry………..
