ga foreclosure laws

How long do we have to move once a foreclosure sale date has been sent by a law firm?

My mom received a foreclosure date, which is only a month away. I am trying to help her but do not really have much knowledge of this kind of thing. The foreclosure date is set so do we need to move before that date? Or on that date will the come and evict us and throw all our stuff on the lawn? We are located in GA.
We did try hard to save our house we have lived in for 23 years. The mortgage company gave us a 6 month forbearance and then modified it to a lower price and we paid on time for the 3 month trial. IF we did this the bank said they would approve it and we would have this amount for the next 5 years but they kept asking for paperwork and other info after the 3 months we paid on time. We did send correct documentation they requested time after time. Then they said we didn’t qualify and we have to pay the 6 months we didn’t all at once. At this point my mom was just tired of fighting for so long and we filed for bankruptcy.

hey I’m sorry to hear this. but a lot of banks did fraud activity so what I’m trying to say is that your mom might be able to save her house without even knowing it .
she should get a lawyer who knows about foreclosure and sue the bank and u will keep your house not only that but they will lower your rate. my husband helped out a lot of families keep their house :)
i wish you guys the best of luck.
don’t let the banks do this to you if u can save your house legally
