Cost to finish this house?

Framing a house is the least expensive part of the process. To me, it appears that that’s all that has been done. It has no doors or windows – and in a house that size, that can easily go anywhere between $15,000 and $35,000, to as much as you’d like to spend on it. Cabinets for this sized house could easily run you as much as $50,000. To me, they are asking $61.00 per sq. foot for a framed house. That seems outrageously high to me, but I am not from your area. The best thing you could do is call a local turn-key builder and ask them what their current price is to frame a house. ** This probably will be much less than $61.00 per sq ft. This can vary from neighborhood to neighborhood. I quit selling doors and windows within the past 2 years, and you could get a nice house built easily for $100 per sq ft, complete. (including foundation, subfloor, framing, drywall, electrical, plumbing, roofing, I’m talking move-in ready for $100/sq ft.) Call the local pros’s, and you’ll probably be shocked at what a deal this doesn’t appear to be…
