My husband and I are going to be renting a house in california city. Our house went into foreclosure, we went?
went through financial problems and still kind of are. But, I was wondering if we rent, do they need to do credit checks on both of us? Because my credit totally sucks now, with everything that has gone on with our financial struggles. He has really good credit though. The house was only under me, so that wont even show up on his credit report. I was just wondering if anyone knows about this? I am also not working I am a stay at home mom right now.
Can’t they just check my husband’s credit since he will be the one only working? I am not going to be working, I’ll be staying home with my daugheter… I don’t know if him being a police officer is also a benefit for the city we will live in????
Ok. So right now we are looking for tenants for a house we have. We posted it on cragslist. and got about 20-30 calls and emails. The only way we will decide is on the credit rating. You probaly wont get the house you wanted but maybe apartments or so. There are a lot of houses up for rent. Your credit rating means alot. Its how most people decide who is going and who is staying.
