renter eviction foreclosure
Is foreclosure for homeowners equivalent to eviction for renters?
to the second answer: so if the difference in in the amounts of money then it is compable, why do you think that a person may be renting, maybe because they didnt have enough money to try and own a home so they rented. the bottom line is that it’s still someone losing what they call home
thank you cj and schwild, i liked your answers, i was not comparing the exacts of it but i keep seeing stuff in the news about all these people getting their homes foreclosed on and all the new help that is or “should” be available to them. As a renter of an apartment i wonder what about all renters who are also facing these tough economic times and are getting evicted, is there any push to help them or just let them go to the shelters…. I dont get it. I understand that they dont technically “own” where they are staying but should that make them more suseptible to losing their home??
Basically – in very general and simple terms.
Both mean that the person did not pay what they were contracted to pay in order to live there and they must move out.
EDIT: I think the rest of the answers are taking you a little to literally. I don’t think you meant to imply that they were exactly the same in every aspect.
